Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has committed to switch all of its cars and vans to electric vehicles, or ultra-low emission vehicles where EVs are not viable by 2030. GHG emissions from CCEP’s car fleet and vans makes up approximately 17 per cent of its total Scope 1 emissions.

The company recently joined EV100and move also follows the launch of CCEP’s new climate strategy including its ambition to reach net-zero emissions by 2040 and a new science-based target to reduce GHG emissions across its value chain by 30 per cent by 2030.

“This represents another important milestone along CCEP’s journey to a low carbon business. We are proud to use our voice to support EV100 in accelerating the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and making electric transport the new normal by 2030.” Commented Joe Franses, VP, Sustainability at CCEP.
