Virgin Money aids dementia research

Customers can sign up to help at dementia research kiosks inside Virgin Money Lounges, where people can register their interest to take part in research studies close to them.

Like a matchmaking service, the kiosks give members of the public a chance to simply register their interest in getting involved in research with some information about themselves, and they can then be contacted when suitable studies open in their local area. If matched, volunteers can decide whether or not they want to take part in a study, choosing on a case-by-case basis.

The Virgin Money Lounges are supporting the Dementia Revolution, a one-year campaign that has seen Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer's Research UK join forces to become the Charity of the Year for Virgin Money as well as the official charity of the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon.
