Sedgwick bolsters corporate citizenship programme

Insurance services firm and loss adjuster, Sedgwick has developed a number of charitable partnerships in the UK.

The firm has signed the BITC-led Race at Work Charter, formally expanding its commitment to promoting diversity across all levels of the company. Strategic partnerships have also been forged with Social Enterprise UK; Recycling Lives; Paint 360 and Renaisi, which supports refugees in finding employment.

“We are extremely proud to be working with important organisations and social enterprises to further expand our contributions to good causes and strengthen our social commitment across the country,” said Paul White (pictured), Sedgwick CEO for the UK.

“We are particularly thrilled to be the first loss adjusting and claims management company to sign the Race at Work Charter. We believe increasing diversity across the business plays a pivotal role in strengthening our position in the market and supporting our vision for growth and future success. At Sedgwick, we believe caring counts. It is our way of doing business, and we strive to improve a little more every day and give more back to the community. It is important to support organisations that dedicate themselves to promoting social enterprises.”

Following the introduction of its corporate citizenship board in 2020, Sedgwick recently published its interim UK-focused report to outline the company’s progress and priorities.
