Access Group announces ambitious fundraising campaign for deaf children

Business software provider the Access Group has announced its new charity partner as the National Deaf Children’s Society.

The company plans to donate its expertise in business software solutions to the charity on a pro bono basis. In return, the charity has agreed to deliver deaf awareness and British Sign Language workshops to the company’s staff.

The Access Group, raised £280,000 last year for the medical research charity DEBRA and will undertake extensive fundraising activities for its new partner, selected after a company vote.

The Access Group has been recognised in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in 2019 and is a provider of business software to mid-sized UK organisations. It helps more than 20,000 customers across commercial and not-for-profit sectors become more productive and efficient. Established in 1991, The Access Group, with an enterprise valuation of over £1bn, employs more than 2,000 staff.
