IMF announces new gender strategy

The IMF’s first gender strategy, aimed at integrating gender into the Fund’s core activities, has been announced by IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva (pictured).

Henceforth, the IMF will assess the economic consequences of gender and gender impact of policies.
