HCC Solicitors and Slater & Gordon Lawyers UK are supporting a fund to improve support for air ambulance crews and patients.
They are founding partners of Air Ambulances UK (AAUK)’s Improving Outcomes Fund, which will also support the families and friends of patients.
Air ambulance services across the UK are run by charities and this fund aims to provide them with “vital aftercare services, improving long-term outcomes for those affected”, said AAUK.
AAUK interim chief executive Lindsay Boswell said: “The AAUK Improving Outcomes Fund is a crucial step forward in ensuring that those affected by traumatic incidents receive the ongoing support they need.
“Our partnership with HCC Solicitors and Slater and Gordon Lawyers UK reflects our shared commitment to improving patient outcomes and supporting the dedicated crews who provide lifesaving care.
“We look forward to seeing the real impact this fund will have across the air ambulance sector."
Being made available for charities are grants of between £5,000 and £25,000 to support patient aftercare, crew support services, provide support spaces, including outdoor reflection spaces, for patients and crews.
