Outdoor advertising firm offering environmental causes free space

Outdoor advertising firm Ocean Outdoors is urging green charities and organisations to apply for free space across its network of digital screens in 17 UK cities.

The offer is being made as part of its Oceans for Oceans campaign, which started six years ago and sees the firm pledge to the use of single use plastics within its business.

Environmental organisations are being urged to apply by 17 January.

Through Oceans for Oceans the firm pledges to donate 2% of its annual reported revenue to environmental good causes.

Charities it has worked for previously include Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Canal and River Trust and Blue Marine Foundation.

During 2024 it has been offering free advertising space to Solar Aid, Tree Aid, The Reef World foundation, Everyday Plastic, Campaign for National Parks and Take the Jump. They were chosen from a long list of 26 applicants.

“Through this partnership, we aim to shine a light on sustainable innovation to create positive change for people and the planet,” said SolarAid communications director Sofia Ollvid.
