Procter & Gamble (P&G) hair care brands Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essences and Aussie are now available with a reusable aluminium bottle and recyclable refill across Europe, allowing European households to recycle, reduce and reuse, hopefully leading to 300 million fewer plastic bottles being produced yearly.
In addition, P&G shave care brands, Gillette and Venus will eliminate 545 tonnes of plastic over a year by moving to recyclable carton packaging.
Both initiatives are part of P&G’s long-term Ambition 2030 goals to reduce virgin plastic usage by half and reach complete recyclability or reusability by 2030.
