Volkswagen Group UK has linked up with energy supplier OVO to offer 10,000 to customers that switch to electric vehicles (EV).

Those buying one of the group’s EV car brands, including Audi, SEAT and Skoda, and who sign up with OVO from this week can access 10,000 free miles.

In addition, they will be offered green rewards from OVO as well as the opportunity to access further additional miles.

Through OVO’s energy saving’s account OVO Beyond, petrol and diesel drivers not making the switch can ‘bank thousands of RV miles to power their future electric care”.

Last year Volkswagen sold 771,000 electric vehicles, up a third on the previous year.
