Blackstone Infrastructure Partners is making a $3bn equity investment in Invenergy Renewables Holdings, the largest private renewable energy company in North America.

The deal will provide capital to accelerate Invenergy’s renewables development activities and is the latest in several clean energy companies Blackstone has supported. Since 2019, Blackstone has committed nearly $13bn in investments that are consistent with the broader energy transition.
