Last night (6 October) the winners of the inaugural Better Society Energy Awards were announced at the Waldorf Hotel during a gala dinner.
In a sign of the strength of the industry the awards were spread over a wide range of projects and initiatives that will all help prevent climate change and provide clean energy to millions.
Following the recent IPCC report, and during this particular period, where energy has become a daily concern at the forecourt or through gas shortages, it is more important that ever that these pioneers are acknowledged, and their common goal of ensuring a safe clean transition to green energy is rewarded.
