Innocent’s Farmer Innovation Fund, launched in 2021, has increased funding to £1m for 2024.
The annual fund is used to help suppliers move to regenerative farming practices that improve soil health, water resources, biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions.
Grants will be available through the fund, with previous winers of grants including Agrarias Manchegas (pictured), a Spanish farm supplying grape juice to innocent.
Here, the Farmer Innovation Fund helped the owners take sustainable farming practices further, using it to buy solar panels to power the irrigation system, machinery, equipment and a multispectral and spraying drone duo.
