Multi-trillion-dollar market for carbon capture

The Thunderbird School of Global Management has released a new report projecting that the world can realise $tr to $3tr in market opportunities and $3tr to $5tr in broader economic, social and environmental benefits per year by 2030 through carbon capture.

Thunderbird’s director general and dean, Dr Sanjeev Khagram authored the new report and shared it at a cross-sectoral gathering hosted by Thunderbird with the Foundation for Climate Restoration in Davos during the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting.

The economic estimates are based on a comprehensive review of the literature and dozens of interviews with scholars, market analysts, and other leading experts on natural and technological solutions for climate restoration.
