Boohoo has appointed a former High Court judge Sir Brian Leveson and KPMG to examine its business practices following allegations that a supplier was paying workers less than the minimum wage.
Leveson, better known for dealing with press ethics after the phone hacking scandal, will chair an independent review of the company's supply chain and ethics.
Boohoo has already admitted there were failings in its supply chain and said it was committed to raising standards and monitoring its suppliers more closely. None-the-less several clients have stopped dealing with the main and subsidiary brands including Next and Asos.
