ClientEarth eyes global expansion

ClientEarth, dedicated to using law to tackle climate change, has announced its intention to ramp up its global efforts.

As a part of this plan, it has appointed Danielle Lackey as its new head of North America. Coming from a background of corporate legal expertise and executive leadership with high-stakes litigation and environmental legal advocacy experience, Lackey will help the North America office expand ClientEarth’s mission to use the power of the law to combat climate change and complement the region’s existing environmental movement.

ClientEarth CEO Laura Clarke said: “We are delighted to have Danielle join us as head of ClientEarth North America. We’re excited by the opportunities in the region for strategic corporate litigation to combat climate change and protect the environment, and Danielle’s expert knowledge of US corporate law and environmental legal advocacy made her the perfect person to lead this work during this critical time for our planet.”

Since its foundation in 2007, ClientEarth has established offices in London, Brussels, Berlin, Beijing, Madrid and Warsaw.
