Investment firm partners with child poverty charity

Cain International has launched a multi-year corporate charity partnership with London child poverty charity the Childhood Trust.

The move has been made as part of a commitment by the real estate investment firm to support good causes in the cities it operates in.

Through the link up the firm will provide funding to the charity to support education, social mobility and mental health schemes for children living in poverty.

The Trust works with small local charities and runs match funding campaigns.

“The Trust is doing vital work to support children facing real challenges, and by working together, we can provide them with the opportunities and support they need to build a brighter future,” said Cain International chief executive Jonathan Goldstein.

Also, Cain staff will volunteer for the charity. Each member of its London based staff will volunteer for a day a year, including activities such as building adventure play areas.

The Childhood Trust’s chief executive Josephine McCartney added: “We are thrilled to partner with Cain International, who are joining us in our mission to alleviate the impact of child poverty.

“This collaboration will have a profound impact on the lives of thousands of children living in poverty in London, helping to ensure they have the opportunities and support they need to thrive.

“Through Cain’s generous funding and employee involvement, we can continue to make real, lasting change in the communities we support across London, ensuring all children have a healthy, happy and safe childhood.”
