Admiral Taverns, which runs more than 1,400 pubs across Great Britain, has selected Claire House Children’s Hospice to be its charity partner until 2026.
The hospice, which has been selected by staff, is based in Wirral near to the pub chain’s head office in Chester.
Through the link up Admiral will take part in fundraising activity, including a 21.6km charity walk on 17 May in and around Chester.
Head office initiatives and pub fun days are also planned to raise money during the year.
“Claire House is such a fantastic charity which truly goes above and beyond to help children, and their families get through some of the toughest moments in their lives,” said Admiral Taverns chief executive Chris Jowsey.
“It’s been eye opening to learn more about the incredible work the team do, and we are delighted to have committed to a two-year partnership.”
“Our first major fundraising milestone will be our charity walk, where we will be encouraging all our employees and their four-legged friends to join in the fun.”
Claire House Children Hospice corporate fundraiser Lewis Croft added: “We are proud that Claire House Children’s Hospice has been chosen by employees at Admiral Taverns to be their charity partner for 2025.
“We are really excited to be working alongside a community focused business like Admiral Taverns and are looking forward to getting involved with many of their challenges and initiatives throughout the year.”
