UK100, in partnership with ShareAction, is establishing the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Finance group to increase the understanding and awareness of parliamentarians of how sustainable finance can be unlocked to deliver a net-zero economy in the UK , and the role the finance sector has in achieving this.
The group will be officially launched on 18 March at the Houses of Parliament with Mark Carney, fresh from his stint at the Bank of England, and support from the Green Finance Institute.
UK100 is a network of UK local authorities who have pledged to shift to 100 per cent clean energy by 2050.
