Google, BT and DCMS among over 1,000 organisations are offering free mentorship to independent organisations through the Digital Boost programme to digitally upskill 500,000 women from female-led organisations by January 2022, with 200,000 of those from BAME backgrounds.
Founded by Sherry Coutu CBE, Digital Boost helps small organisations access digital skills through unlimited free one-to-one mentorships delivered by volunteers from organisations including Google, DCMS, Visa, BT and The Big Lottery.
Digital Boost is a subsidiary of F4S, one of the largest employability charities in the UK. Supported by DCMS, Google and many others, the initiative was created in 2020 in response to Covid-19 to help drive inclusive economic growth and improve the livelihoods of millions, with a particular focus on the needs and challenges of women working for small businesses and charities.
